In 1959, Chapter 1062 defined LRN 272 as “[LRN 19] near the City of Industry to [LRN 26] near Pomona”.
In 1961, Chapter 1146 changed the terminus: “…to [LRN 26]
near Pomona [LRN 240]”.
This is present-day Route 57 from Route 60 near the City of Industry to Route 71 at the Kellogg Interchange (I-10/Route 57/Route 71) interchange near Pomona.
