County Route Shield

Tuolumne
County Sign Route E17

[Click here for a key to the symbols used. Some county routes were constructed with federal funds. These routes are indicated as FAP (Federal Aid Primary), FAU (Federal Aid Urban), or FAS (Federal Aid Secondary). If no funding source is shown, no federal funds were used. Note that while some segments seem to have the same attributes, they may differ in the county-local road number assigned to the segment, or in the Caltrans Map Sheet number.]

Routing Routing

  1. Cty Rte E17Tuolumne Road from Route 108 near the east Business Route 108 (Sonora business loop) junction to Carter Street (FAS, 6.87 mi)

  2. Carter Street from Tuolumne Road to Buchanan Road (FAS, 0.32 mi)

  3. Carter Street from Buchanan Road to N. Tuolumne Road. [Note: This appears to be a missing segment, as Buchanan Road does not connect with Tuolumne Road.]

  4. Tuolumne Road from Carter Street to Route 108 near Soulsbyville Twain Harte. [Note: Tuolumne Road does not connect to Route 108 near Soulsbyville; it reconnects near Twain Harte. The connection to Route 108 in Soulsbyville is Soulsbyville Road, but to connect that to County Sign Route E17 would require backtracking after the diversion into Tuolumne. Following Tuolumne Road also makes the total mileage work out.]
