Tomorrow, “vacation” ends, and it is back to work. So what did I do with my week-ish off?
The answer, primarily, is “record”. My uncle recently got an iPod, and I’ve been digitizing his music (which is win-win, because I get music as well). If you’ve looked at my music tag, you’ve gotten an idea of the almost 700 songs I’ve added in the last two weeks: Joan Baez, Chet Atkins, Flatt and Scruggs, Fairport Convention, Burl Ives, the Carter Family, Eric Weissberg, Chuck Berry, and more. I also resorted my CDs and refiled them, discovering a number of CDs I hadn’t ripped. This added more to the list, including some classic jazz such as Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller, and much more.
I also spent some time creating the new WordPress blog. Has anyone come over and taken a look, or are you all still reading it on LJ or FB?
Other than that… not much. Did a little working at home. Updated some webpages. Did some cleaning and organizing. Visited some relatives.
So what did you do over your winter vacation?
