It’s so nice when you are listening to an obscure show, and suddenly run across a song you know. In this case, I was listening to the 1964 New York Revival Cast Album of Cabin in the Sky. Suddenly, I notice a song in the background, Taking a Chance on Love. I never realized that song came from a show!
As for the show itself: nice jazzy score. This is an obscure musicals week. I was listening to The Apple Tree and Baker Street yesterday, and my musical in the CD player I’m listening to on the van is Radio Gals (I still find Klea Blackhurst‘s voice amazing)
