Today, Small & Feisty and I went to Games Gather #6, a bi-monthly gaming day organized by ladygamer in La Cañada. For $5 each, we get a day with other board gamers, playing loads of games. Both S&F and I love gaming (I passed it on to her), and we had a great time. We started at 10:00 AM, and gamed straight through until 8:15 PM. No whining. No fighting. Just games.
Here’s what we played: Ace of Aces-Powerhouse (Daniel won), Dragon Delta, 10 Days in the USA (Daniel won), 10 Days in Africa (Daniel won), Ticket to Ride (1×S&F-only; 1×both), Spy, Quirks, High Society, Carcassonne (Daniel only), Metro (S&F won), Munchkin (S&F won), Chez Geek, Balloon Cup. We started to play Vino, but I just couldn’t get into it.
We celebrated Talk Like A Pirate Day in advance by eating Pirates Booty from Trader Joes.
The next day of gaming will be Games Day 17 on October 16th in Burbank. We should be there. I’m not sure we’ll have a free gaming day in November 🙁
