My daughter and I had a great day. We started at the Southern California Games Day, where we had a great time playing games (you can see a list of games we played at BoardgameGeek), and then went out to Lancaster to watch the Jethawks play (they were leading 8 to 4, when we left midway through the 6th inning).
It’s wonderful when you can spend a day having fun with your kid!
[Road note: I’ve noticed they’ve started putting the exit numbers on Route 14. It still strikes me as odd to see Exit 1 on the first exit, when I KNOW that Route 14 is still defined to continue to the coast (it would have gone down Reseda, crossed the hills, and then across Temescal Canyon).]
