Seen on CNN:
- Hold the stuffing: Recall announced. 129,000 bags of the turkey day staple recalled after failing to list wheat and dairy as ingredients.. It appears that Martin’s Potatobred Soft Cubed Stuffing contains wheat and dairy, although they neglected to list it as an ingredient. According to a company spokesman, “There’s nothing wrong with the product unless they are allergic to wheat or dairy.” Never mind that allergies can kill you, depending on their severity.
- Strange world of lost luggage. This article is about the Unclaimed Baggage Center, where unclaimed lost baggage goes to find a new and presumably better life. Of course, the center has a number of tips to prevent losing your baggage, including “Lock your bag” (never mind that TSA requires the opposite, or having special locks that they can unlock) and “Avoid marking bags with special handling instructions” (so, marking it “Fragile” is a bad idea).
Yes, these are the folks on our highways today. Scary, isn’t it?
