Various and Sundry Updates – Observations Along the Road

You’ll notice I’ve updated all my LJ icons. They now all have the California State shield in them somewhere, to make it easy to identify my posts.
Small and Feisty started school today. Yippie! She likes her teacher, and she has friends in her class. This is a good thing.
At work, it’s PEF time… meaning we need to write the summary of why they should give us more money next year. Most people hate to do this, but I don’t mind. Although week to week I often feel unproductive, doing something like this reminds me that I do a lot of significant things for the company.
Gaming is coming up! First, I’ve ordered two new games from Time Well Spent (which, if they have the game in stock, has the best prices): Dragon Delta and Metro. The local gaming group’s game days for the next two months have also been set: Games Gather 6 is September 18^th in La Cañada, and Games Day 18 is October 16^th in Burbank. I should be able to make both of them!
Saturday night is a theatre night with my sweetie: We’re going to see Vincent in Braxton at the Pasadena Playhouse.
The antibiotics seem to be knocking down the headaches: today was the first day in a few I’ve had to take Excedrin. I’m still a bit “weary in the bones”, but I probably need to catch up on sleep.
