Meet Me In Tucson in December at ACSAC

[Announcement]

Want to meet me in real life? Working in the field of computer security? Then come and meet me in Tucson in December, the week of December 6th-10th.

Registration is now open for the Annual Computer Security Applications Conference, which I’m in the 4th (and last) year of chairing. I’ve been involved with this conference since it was last in Tucson in 1989, and I wouldn’t stay with it if it wasn’t a great little conference. I’m currently both general chair and tutorial chair.

You can find the program online at www.acsac.org. It features two days of tutorials/workshops, two and a half days of technical programs, and a special event: a visit to the airplane graveyard and the Pima Air Museum. We’ve got classic speakers, Steve Lipner from Microsoft (and formerly of DEC) as our Distinguished Practitioner, and Rebecca Mercuri (of Electronic Voting fame) as our invited essayist. A printable advance program should be available on the website shortly; if you need it before it is up, drop me email at general_chair@acsac.org.
