If you recall, a week or so ago, in a blog entry titled “Silly Me, a/k/a I Guess I Am A Guy“, I reported how I finally got fed up with the headaches and made an appointment with the doctor.
I just got back. According to him, I’m the winner of a low grade sinus infection. He then channeld Don Pardo, and gave me my prize: a prescription for Augmentin, and a recommendation to take Naproxin+Sudaphed in the morning (instead of Excedrin). I’m not crazy about the effects of Sudaphed, but it is better than the headaches. I asked him if I needed something stronger than T3 for the bad headaches, and he didn’t think anything was necessary.
This is why I like my doctor. Practical. Minimalist. Good diagnostician. Plus, I always get at least 2-3 good political jokes (usually against Mr. Bush) when I walk in. I call that win-win.
