Driving the van home, listening to NPR report on the Bush National Security Strategy, I came up with a radical notion.
Our troops are deployed wrong. Let’s move them to the edges of the country. Only allow in food, medical supplies, etc. Let the Iraqis sort everything else out internally, with no outside interference. After all, we know they don’t have WMD, so the battle would stay inside the boundaries.
I know… it probably wouldn’t work.
