Today’s been a transitional day, as I move from “vacation” mode to “work” mode. Translation: I worked a partial day from home today, and spent the rest of the day dealing with the debris from both before (i.e., the mess left after packing) and after the trip (i.e., unpacking). It has also been a day to deal with all the mail that came in whilst we were out.
I did find it interesting that both of our checked bags were opened by TSA. I don’t know what they were looking for, but I hope they enjoyed going through our dirty clothes.
We’re also all cranky and tired today. I got up at 4:00 AM (which is actually close to my normal work arising time), S&F at 6:00 AM, and gf_guruilla at 7:00 AM. We also had the predictable meltdown when we informed S&F that she had a dental appointment today. At least she got to play with Karate Kid this afternoon.
Well, back to the decluttering and unpacking…
