Well, I tried to give into the trend. I went out and tried the Portrait Illustration Maker. Couldn’t come up with one I liked, even after saving and editing the results (they have a limited selection of beard structures and colors). For some reason, the face just looks too feminine, and I can’t figure out exactly why. So, I just added some user pictures. I probably won’t change my default, tho… If you have any comments on the pictures, I’d welcome them (or suggestions on ones I should add).
The Week Ahead
This looks to be busy week upcoming. Tuesday, I’m meeting with folks from our old temple to transfer Webmaster, NL Editor, and Giftshop responsibilities, leaving me only TempleSoft support. Wednesday, we’re having a lunchtime party at work. Thursday, I’ve got a meeting of the CSUN Industrial Advisory Board for the School of Engineering. Saturday, we’ve got tickets to West Side Story at Cabrillo Music Theatre. And, of course, throughout all of this, we’re getting ready to go off on vacation to St. Louis MO on Tuesday the 27th. More on the vacation in future postings.
