For Those Who Doubt Our Kids Today

Monday and Tuesday of next week, for the 2^nd time, I’m going to be a judge at the California State Science Fair. Today, I went out and downloaded the project abstracts for my panel… and I am impressed (just as I was last year). The quality and depth of proposals from these 6^th through 12^th graders is remarkable, and certainly far surpass what I was doing at that age. Take a look at some of the projects, and I think you’ll agree. If these are the kids that end up being our future scientists, we’re in good hands.
