Hmmm. Lunchtime. Time for a left-over meme, to go with the left-overs from the office party I had for lunch. Yum. Day-old sushi.
The Snarf: Snarfed from barelyproper, among others.
The Meme: “Ground Rules: The first player of this “game” starts with the topic “5 weird habits of yours” and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their 5 quirky habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.”
The Answers:
- I really prefer writing with fountain pens, to the point where if you hand me a ballpoint, and I have my own fountain pen, I will use my pen over yours.
- As an extension of the above: I’m old fashioned, and prefer dipping my pen to using cartridges. I also prefer working on paper first, so I always print out documents, take out a bottle of ink and a good pen, scribble all over the document, and then type in the markups.
- I don’t like to go to bed with the kitchen dirty. I might not put everything away, but I will get the dishwasher loaded.
- Of course, related to the above, I hate putting things away. This is why gf_guruilla and I work so well: typically I wash, and she puts away.
- You should see my calendar. I eschew modern devices such as PDAs, and use an old-fashioned wall calendar, upon which I put events, written very small on cut up post-it notes, on the correct day. Of course, I write the notes with my trusty fountain pen.
The Tagging: I’ve always been taught that it is wrong to tag (except, perhaps, your own blog entry). So, I’ll leave it up to you to do this, if it strikes you.
