The iPod turns 9 today. It was first introduced on October 23, 2001.
It certainly has revolutionized how I listen to music. I now have 99% of my large album collection in my pocket, and I listed to all of my music on a regular basis, as opposed to just a small selection of favorite CDs. I now also tend to listen to albums on shuffle, and focus much more on the songs themselves. Lastly, through podcasting, I’m finding I actually enjoy longer drives.
