According to CNN, Wendie Jo Sperber has died at the age of 46 (only one year older than me) after an 8-year battle with breast cancer. I remember reading about her battle, but this is still sad news.
Those who know me know that I do find larger women attractive. Thus, this death, as well as the death of Nell Carter, hit me harder because I thought these were extremely beautiful ladies. For those who don’t remember Ms. Sperber, she was on Bosom Buddies with Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari, as well as appearing in Back to the Future. After she was diagnosed with cancer, Ms. Sperber started the WeSpark Cancer Support Center.
Sigh.
