I normally don’t talk about my TV viewing. However, in the last few weeks I’ve discovered a new reality program that is quite fascinating, and I’m curious whether others have watched it. The program is “Undercover Boss” on CBS.
The premise is interesting: Take a CEO of a major corporation Put them undercover in entry level positions to learn the other end of their business. Have them report back on lessons learned. The first two episodes involved the CEO of Waste Management and the CEO of Hooters. They both seemed to learn interesting things about their businesses, and it will be interesting to see if they changes they made will be visible to the TV viewers. Yes, in some sense these are free commercials for the corporations involved, but still the process is fascinating.
Has anyone else gotten caught up in this?
