Well, the first part of the redecoration of my journal is done. There are still some things I’d like to do, such as (a) figuring out how to get rid of the “white”-space on both sides (especially on the left) [or reducing it by about half]; (b) figuring out how to put some blank space before lists or blockquotes; (c) figuring out how to put some more space between the userpic and the entry text; and (d) possibily coming up with a new header image that incorporates a Calfornia Route 1 shield and a highway running off into the distance. If any folks are LJ S2 “expressive” experts and can advise on that, I’d welcome it.
Still, I think it’s starting to look good, and is a nice change from the old “component” layout. Take a look at it: either my main page or my friends page and let me know what you think.
