Sitting on the Dock of the Bay

One of the problem with iPod cases is that you have to take your iPod out of the case to use it in a docking station. I’ve found online a dock extender cable, but I’d prefer to pick one up in a local store. Does anyone know of retailers that carry these sort of things?
