Sunday Report

Well, since ellipticcurve wrote about her boring weekend, let me elaborate a little, since we spent part of it with her. Saturday I’ve already written about (here, here). Sunday was spent with ellipticcurve and her Real Estate agent, our friend Donna. While gf_guruilla took S&F to Religious School and a birthday party, I traisped over the North Valley with ellipticcurve and Donna, and we saw about 12 houses. One of them was perfect for ellipticcurve, and she’s put in an offer on it. [Update: Which she got!] The others had various problems: bad layouts, bad amenities, bad prices, too small. It does remind me what not to do when we show our house. I do have to say that the Thomas Brothers Digital Edition maps were really useful: I was able to print Thomas Bros. pages with all the potential houses on them, and work up an efficient visit route.

After the house hunting we came back to our house. While ellipticcurve worked on stuff from the office, I did about four loads of laundry (not yet folded) and cooked dinner. gf_guruilla was down with a knee injury, and S&F was busy playing Neopets. We had a lovely Chicken in Wine and Rosemary with Spinach, had nut cookies baked by ellipticcurve and gf_guruilla, watched Charmed. At this point, ellipticcurve toddled off to her beach flat, and we toddled off to.. oh, right, we were already there.

Today, I’m having trouble waking up. I keep yawning (and these are big yawns), and my jaw is starting to hurt. Hopefully, the Darjeeling will sink in soon, as I have a 9:00 AM telecon.
