I just sent email to my ENT requesting a date of 4/29 or 5/2 for my sinus surgery, after I confirmed on my work calendar that the week is free. The only complication might be that I’m flying on 5/16 to Charleston SC for a workshop. We’ll see what happens next.
In the đ department, my CD player on my machine here at work has been “skippish” on the last two CDs I tried to play. I hope I don’t have to call support; they are never useful. The CDs themselves look clean, and play OK on my portable.
Update, Tuesday 3/29 @ 8:03 AM: The problem appears to have gone away. I’m guessing it was related to a Java application that was running from a website that (under Mozilla) had some errors. Restarted the browser yesterday, and the problem went away.
