- Boaty McBoatface. We all heard about that research ship in the UK that was going to be named Boaty McBoatface. Well, it turns out the Brits decided that was too stupid, and named it after David Attenborough instead. Don’t worry, Boaty fans. The name will be used for an underwater research craft.
- Dieting. Dieting is a funny beast. We’ve all seen the news this week: Those folks on The Biggest Loser gain it all back. This comes on top of news that exercise won’t help you lose wait. Might as well give up. Perhaps not. It turns out that dieting for just one meal can change everything.
- Ripening Avocados. Last week, I shared an article about how you can ripen avocados in the oven. The only problem? Turns out that you can’t.
