Tonight we went to Best Buy. I’ll spare you the gory details (email me if you need them), but suffice it to say we’re going to bringing parts of our household out of the Windows 95 and Windows 3.1 era. We needed to do it (we’ve needed to do it for a while), but I always hate shopping for large ticket items. At least we’ve got great financing (24 mo at 0%) and two modern machines. Now I get to set them up, and then purchase some additional software.
We didn’t get a postcard from Small & Feisty today. She’ll write us to say she’s homesick, but not to say she’s having a great time (that goes to grandpa). She comes home Wednesday, and we can’t wait to see her.
