DirecTivo Help Needed

I have a Samsung DirecTivo (S4080R) with a fan that is dying. It keeps making the noises like a bearing in the fan is going bad. I’m a software type, not a hardware type, so I’m hesitant to open up the box (it is long out of warranty) and replace the fan. Does anyone have a suggestion of who might be able to do it? (we live in Northridge CA, near the mall).
