A short note before I head out to services… Today marks 11 months since my dad’s death. I had been hoping to coordinate an unveiling, but hadn’t heard from the cemetary. So I dropped them a note. The long and the short of it is that they forgot to send us the order form for the memorial plaque (I thought we had taken care of that when we did the funeral, but perhaps we hadn’t… it isn’t in the paperwork I had). So I’ll fill out the paperwork and mail it off Friday. It then takes 3-4 months to make up the plaque.
Nothing I can do about it but… grrr… and forgive them tonight.
