A Home Day

As I write this, I’m being treated to regular bursts of thunder outside (there goes another one), as the adage “it never rains in Southern California” is again proved wrong. In fact, right now, Los Angeles is ahead of the game in rainfall. Of course, this is the one year I’m not going to Big Bear, as my daughter has aged out of Indian Princesses, and thus we don’t have the trip to Camp Whittle this weekend (but we do get to go to the reunion at Camp Hess Kramer!)

Today’s been at at home day. Originally, I planned this as a vacation day, but as my daughter was working on homework, I decided to do real work. I actually put in 8 hours from home… go me! Spent most of the day using one of the A&W pens to bleed all over a document. I think I’ve figured out one of the unlabeled ones; it appears to be an Osmiroid. Tomorrow I’m back in the office. Should have a batch of work to do.

My back is still bothering me; hopefully, the chiropractor visit tomorrow night will help. It’s in the lower back. Wearing a back support and taking some anti-inflamatories is helping some. The arm/wrist is doing better, as long as I keep a brace or wristlet on. No headaches for the last week.

Now to go help with dinner and get my briefcase together for tomorrow…
