For $5 each, we get a day with other board gamers, playing loads of games. Both S&#038;F and I love gaming (I passed it on to her), and we had a great time. We started at 10:00 <font size=\"-2\">AM<\/font>, and gamed straight through until 8:15 <font size=\"-2\">PM<\/font>. No whining. No fighting. Just games.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what we played: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/7104\" target=\"_blank\">Ace of Aces-Powerhouse<\/a> (Daniel won), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/634\" target=\"_blank\">Dragon Delta<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/7866\" target=\"_blank\">10 Days in the USA<\/a> (Daniel won), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/7865\" target=\"_blank\">10 Days in Africa<\/a> (Daniel won), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/9209\" target=\"_blank\">Ticket to Ride<\/a> (1&times;S&#038;F-only; 1&times;both), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/9201\" target=\"_blank\">Spy<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/2478\" target=\"_blank\">Quirks<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/220\" target=\"_blank\">High Society<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/822\" target=\"_blank\">Carcassonne<\/a> (Daniel only), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/559\" target=\"_blank\">Metro<\/a> (S&#038;F won), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/1927\" target=\"_blank\">Munchkin<\/a> (S&#038;F won), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/553\" target=\"_blank\">Chez Geek<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/5716\" target=\"_blank\">Balloon Cup<\/a>. We started to play <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boardgamegeek.com\/game\/142\" target=\"_blank\">Vino<\/a>, but I just couldn&#8217;t get into it.<\/p>\n<p>We celebrated <a href=\"http:\/\/www.talklikeapirate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Talk Like A Pirate Day<\/a> in advance by eating <a href=\"http:\/\/store1.yimg.com\/I\/truefoods_1812_64382575\" target=\"_blank\">Pirates Booty<\/a> from Trader Joes.<\/p>\n<p>The next day of gaming will be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.socalgamesday.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Games Day 17<\/a> on October 16<sup>th<\/sup> in Burbank. We should be there.
