Sept 17, 2014 &#8211; Nov 2, 2014. This one is a maybe, if only to see Cycely Tyson on stage.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/heartbeatofhome.com\/\"><strong>Heartbeat of Home<\/strong><\/a>. Dec. 9, 2014 &#8211; Jan. 18, 2015. A dance extravaganza by the producers and director of &#8220;Riverdance,&#8221; featuring tributes to dance from various nations. A big &#8220;meh&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dameednafarewell.com\/\">Dame Edna and Barry Humphries: The Final Farewell Tour<\/a>.<\/strong> Jan. 24, 2015 &#8211; March 15, 2015. Dame Edna and another farewell tour. Again, meh.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/cinderellaonbroadway.com\/\"><strong>Rodgers &amp; Hammerstein&#8217;s Cinderella<\/strong><\/a>. March 17, 2015 &#8211; April 26, 2015. I just can&#8217;t get too excited over this &#8212; I know the music; I&#8217;ve seen it on TV (for which it was originally staged). I&#8217;d rather see &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rnh.com\/show\/92\">State Fair<\/a>&#8220;.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/us.matildathemusical.com\/\">Matilda: The Musical<\/a>. <\/strong>May 29 through July 12, 2015. This one is the big &#8220;yes&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What is it with musicals this year. The <a title=\"Thoughts on a Theatre Season \u2013 Pantages 2014-2015\" href=\"https:\/\/cahighways.org\/wordpress\/?p=8963\">Pantages is mostly &#8220;meh&#8221;<\/a>, the Ahmanson is &#8220;meh&#8221;, and <a title=\"Thoughts on a Theatre Season \u2013 Cabrillo 2014-2015\" href=\"https:\/\/cahighways.org\/wordpress\/?p=8997\">Cabrillo doesn&#8217;t have anything<\/a> I&#8217;ve already seen. C&#8217;mon folks. Let&#8217;s see some exciting stuff that hasn&#8217;t been in LA in a while. Hell, I&#8221;d settle for a good production of &#8220;Hello Dolly&#8221; or &#8220;Sweet Charity&#8221;. That reminds me&#8230; I wonder what <a href=\"http:\/\/domatheatre.com\/\">Doma<\/a> is doing?
