Yes, I could wait until tonight, but some of these are so good I&#8217;ve just gotta share&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A History of Everything, Pixar<\/strong>. Strange, warped, but oddly sensical&#8230; here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/mashable.com\/2013\/07\/12\/the-pixar-theory\/\">a unified theory of how all the Pixar movies are actually in the same universe<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Computer History<\/strong>. Turning to computer history, here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/mentalfloss.com\/article\/51674\/history-ctrl-alt-delete\">a history of how the Control-Alt-Del keysequence came to be<\/a>. In other computer news, Playbill announced <a href=\"http:\/\/www.playbill.com\/news\/article\/180213-New-Musical-If-Then-Starring-Tony-Winner-Idina-Menzel-Will-Arrive-at-Broadways-Richard-Rodgers-Theatre-in-March-2014\">a new musical, &#8220;IF &#8211; THEN&#8221;<\/a>. It was hoping it would be a musical about the creation of FORTRAN or PL\/I, but alas it isn&#8217;t.<\/li>\n<li><strong>History Never Goes Away.<\/strong> A big topic in the news is <a title=\"A Few Thoughts on Zimmerman\/Martin\" href=\"https:\/\/cahighways.org\/wordpress\/?p=8145\">the whole Zimmerman\/Martin case<\/a> and <a title=\"Will We Ever Learn?\" href=\"https:\/\/cahighways.org\/wordpress\/?p=8152\">the reaction thereto<\/a>. But for some, it is just same old-same old. Here&#8217;s an interesting contention: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stltoday.com\/news\/local\/columns\/bill-mcclellan\/mcclellan-we-re-still-fighting-the-civil-war\/article_a6e7df27-beb4-584c-bfb9-125e60815037.html\">we&#8217;re still fighting the Civil War<\/a>. This is certainly seen in the reaction against Obama. Remember: the South in the Civil War didn&#8217;t like Lincoln because he came up from nothing &#8212; trash elected President. They preferred leaders who came from money, power, and in particular, powerful families. Hmmmmm.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transit History<\/strong>. Those who know me know I&#8217;m familiar with highway and transit history, and that Los Angeles once had a great transportation system that withered away (due to poor maintenance, not any conspiracy)&#8230; and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metro.net\/about\/library\/archives\/visions-studies\/mass-rapid-transit-concept-maps\/\">there were plans for a much bigger system than we currently have<\/a>. It&#8217;s getting better, but it takes time.
