So far today, I\/we have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visited the <a href=\"http:\/\/listings.allpages.com\/ca-0117180451-glendale.html\" target=\"_blank\">optometrist<\/a>. As suspected, I need new glasses for mid-range, but my old glasses will work for reading. <a href=\"http:\/\/gf_guruilla.livejournal.com\/\" class=\"lj-user\">gf_guruilla<\/a> and NSS&#038;F also got new glasses. I&#8217;m glad we enrolled in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vsp.com\/ \" target=\"_blank\">vision plan<\/a> at work: it saved us just under $500, by my estimation.\n<li>Stopped at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.satruck.com\/LocationMap.asp?ID=201\" target=\"_blank\">Salvation Army thrift shop in Glendale<\/a>. No games, but we did find some more silver-rimmed glasses and a nice crystal serving piece.\n<li>Dropped off a full bag of recycling. It appears that the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jonsmarketplace.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jons Market in North Hills<\/a> just closed.\n<li>Went by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsnorthridge.csun.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">ASU Ticket office at CSU Northridge<\/a> to pick up tickets to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csun.edu\/theatre\/playseason.html\" target=\"_blank\">Hair<\/a>. We&#8217;re going on 5\/13 with <a href=\"http:\/\/ellipticcurve.livejournal.com\/\" class=\"lj-user\">ellipticcurve<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/venedotia.livejournal.com\/\" class=\"lj-user\">venedotia<\/a>.\n<li>Stopped by the Bureau of Sanitation&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacity.org\/SAN\/bc-csun-northridge-040806.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Compost Bin Pickup<\/a> and picked up two <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacity.org\/SAN\/earth-machine.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Earth Machine<\/a>s.  I&#8217;ve already moved the contents of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.composters.com\/docs\/bins_p3.html#pr\" target=\"_blank\">current compost bin<\/a> to the new bins, so we now have three compost bins going. But it was a lot of work (whew!)<\/ul>\n<p>Next is starting to clean the house for Pesach, and then this evening is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pasadenaplayhouse.org\/asyou.html\" target=\"_blank\">As You Like It<\/a> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pasadenaplayhouse.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pasadena Playhouse<\/a>.
