I hope it works.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Repairin&#8217; Sidewalks and Trees.<\/strong> Landlubbers have this strange attraction to these things called &#8220;trees&#8221;, and like to walk on sidewalks. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/local\/la-me-0919-lopez-sidewalkredux-20120919,0,1708575.column\" target=\"_blank\">Aye, but the ones in the Port of Los Angeles are broken and expensive to replace, and the mates are mutinying over it<\/a>. Your captain is well aware of this; we have a tree in the city-owned median that has a pest infestation. We can&#8217;t simply remove or treat it, but have to go through an expensive city process to take care of it, which I can&#8217;t even think of doing &#8217;till I find where I buried my treasure. Arrrrrr.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Finding Treasure.<\/strong> One way to get treasure is from this newfangled device called an ATM. Much less riskier to life and limb than the musket. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.datagenetics.com\/blog\/september32012\/\" target=\"_blank\">An enterprising mate has done an analysis of the 4-digit PINs commonly used<\/a>. Turns out quite a few of them are quite easy to guess. Maybe the crew won&#8217;t need to find that map after all.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dealing With Cravin&#8217;<\/strong>. When the crew is at sea for a long time, we get some mighty strong cravins&#8217;.
