For Chanukah, I received a copy of “10 Days in Europe<\/a>“. For those unfamiliar with this game, you need to build a “tour” of 10 Days through the countries in Europe. Each day is represented by a card, which is either a country, a ship on an ocean, or a colored airplane. You can walk between adjacent countries (or countries connected by a ferry), take a ship across an ocean that connects two countries, or fly a colored airplane between two countries of the same color.<\/p>\n

Here’s an example, from the rules:

This got me to thinking about whether it would be possible to connect this game with the two other games in the series: 10 Days in Africa<\/a> and 10 Days in the USA<\/a>. I’ll note that the 10 Days in Africa page does suggest a variation where Africa and USA are combined<\/a>, so it should be possible. Somehow, though, I think a longer tour should be required, perhaps 20 days.<\/p>\n
