This is early in the legislative session, and we’re still in the bill \t\t\t introduction phase. <\/p>\n I checked \t\t\t the CTC Liaison \t\t\t page<\/a> for the results of the March meeting (the CTC appears to be meeting \t\t\t every other month). Relinquishment Resolutions<\/b><\/p>\n Reviewed the \t\t\t CTC \t\t\t Project Allocation List \u2013 March 24, 2011<\/a> and noted the following:<\/p>\n County of Los Angeles: Route\u00a0605<\/a> between PM 21.1\/22.8 In \t\t\t\t Irwindale between West Ramona Boulevard and Rivergrade Road. Outcome\/Outputs: \t\t\t\t Relinquished 0.6 mile of roadway to the City of Irwindale to accept liability \t\t\t\t and assume full maintenance, ownership, responsibility, and control of the \t\t\t\t facility.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n County of Shasta: Route\u00a0299<\/a> between PM 2.5\/4.3 Near Redding, \t\t\t\t from 2.5 to 4.3 miles east of Trinity County Line. Outcome\/Output: Install \t\t\t\t truck climbing lanes to reduce congestion and minimize traffic delay.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n County of Orange, Route\u00a055<\/a> between PM R7.8\/R9.4 In Santa Ana, \t\t\t\t from Dyer Road off ramp to Edinger Avenue on ramp. Outcome\/Output: Construct an \t\t\t\t auxiliary lane between interchanges to address the weaving operations of \t\t\t\t vehicles and increase the level of service.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n County of Mendocino, Route\u00a0175<\/a> between PM 0.0\/9.9 Near Hopland \t\t\t\t from the Junction of Route\u00a0101<\/a> to 0.6 mile east of Mendocino\/Lake County Line. \t\t\t\t Outcome\/Output: Rehabilitate 21.0 lane miles of roadway by overlaying with \t\t\t\t asphalt concrete to improve the ride quality, prevent further deterioration of \t\t\t\t the traveling surface, minimize costly roadway repairs, and extend the pavement \t\t\t\t service life.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n County of Lake, Route\u00a0175<\/a> between PM 4.9\/28.0 Near Lakeport, \t\t\t\t from 4.9 miles east of Mendocino\/Lake County Line to Route\u00a0175<\/a>\/29 Junction; \t\t\t\t also near Kelseyville from Route\u00a0175<\/a>\/29 Junction to Route\u00a0175<\/a>\/29 Junction in \t\t\t\t Middletown. (1) The Department, the Solano Transportation \t\t\t\t Authority, and the Napa County Transportation Planning Agency propose to amend \t\t\t\t the 2010 STIP and the CMIA baseline agreement for the Segment 1 (PPNO 0367D) \t\t\t\t and Segment 2 (PPNO 0367I) of the State Route\u00a012<\/a> Jameson Canyon Widening \u2013 \t\t\t\t Phase 1 (TCRP 157) project to reprogram $4,100,00 IIP funds from Construction \t\t\t\t Capital for Segment 1 to Construction Support for Segment 1 ($2,750,000) and \t\t\t\t Segment 2 ($1,350,000) and to update the project delivery schedule. \t\t\t\t Approved.<\/b><\/p>\n (2) The Department and the San Joaquin \t\t\t\t Council of Govern-ments (SJCOG) propose to amend the 2010 STIP to revise the \t\t\t\t funding plan for the I-5<\/a>\/French Camp Interchange project (PPNO 7239), change \t\t\t\t the project scope and revise the fund-ing plan for the State Route (SR) 99 \t\t\t\t Widening in Manteca and San Joaquin project (PPNO 7634), and add the SR 99 \t\t\t\t Widen-ing in Manteca and San Joaquin Phase 1 project (PPNO 7634A), the SR 99 \t\t\t\t Widening in Manteca and San Joaquin Phase 2 project (PPNO 7634B), the SR 99 \t\t\t\t Widening in Man-teca and San Joaquin Phase 3 project (PPNO 7634C), and the SR \t\t\t\t 99 Widening in Manteca and San Joaquin Mitigation Planting project (PPNO \t\t\t\t 7634D). Approved off Consent Calendar.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n (1) The Department proposes to amend the 2010 \t\t\t\t STIP to revise the project limits for the South Coast 101 High Occupancy \t\t\t\t Vehicle Lanes project (PPNO 7101) in Santa Barbara County. Information \t\t\t\t only.<\/b><\/p>\n (3) The Department and the Kern Council of \t\t\t\t Governments (KCOG) propose to amend the 2010 STIP to reduce the programming for \t\t\t\t KCOG\u2019s Planning, Programming and Monitoring (PPNO 6L03), and revise the \t\t\t\t project funding plans for the Route\u00a099<\/a> from Route\u00a0204<\/a> to Beardsley Canal \t\t\t\t project (PPNO 6267) and the Route\u00a099<\/a> from Route\u00a0119<\/a> to Wilson Road project \t\t\t\t (PPNO 6268). Information only.<\/b><\/p>\n (4) The Department proposes to amend the 2010 \t\t\t\t STIP to delete the Philip Raine Safety Roadside Rest Area Enhancement project \t\t\t\t (PPNO 6370) in Tulare County and add the State Route\u00a099<\/a>\/113 Interchange project \t\t\t\t (PPNO 8373) in Sutter County. Construct roadway improvements including 4 \t\t\t\t managed lanes, 2 HOV lanes and a transit station on Route\u00a0805<\/a> and 52 near the \t\t\t\t city of San Diego. (MND) (EA 081630) (SLPP) The Commission accepted the \t\t\t\t environmental document and approved the project for future \t\t\t\t consideration<\/b><\/p>\n(7) Approval of Project for Future \t\t\t\t Consideration of Funding: 08-SBd-15, PM 177.3\/181.1 Route\u00a015<\/a> in San Bernardino \t\t\t\t County. Construct a new Joint Port of Entry on the California\/Nevada border on \t\t\t\t Route\u00a015<\/a> near the town of Nipton. (MND) (PPNO 0179B) (SHOPP) The Commission \t\t\t\t accepted the environmental document and approved the project for future \t\t\t\t consideration of funding.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n (1) A New Public Road Connection to Route\u00a015<\/a> \t\t\t\t at 08-Riv-15 PM 7.3 at French Valley Parkway in the city of Temecula, in the \t\t\t\t county of Riverside. Approved.<\/b><\/p>\n (2) A New Public Road Connection to Route\u00a015<\/a> \t\t\t\t at 08-SBd-15 PM 30.0 at Ranchero Road in the city of Hesperia, in the county of \t\t\t\t San Bernardino. Approved.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n 1-Hum-255-PM 6.0, Right of Way along Route\u00a0255<\/a>, at Jackson Ranch Road, in the county of Humboldt. Approved.<\/b><\/p>\n 6-Tul-63-PM 22.57, Right of Way along Route\u00a063<\/a>, at Avenue 408, in the county of Tulare. Approved.<\/b><\/p>\n 10-Mer-99-PM 11.35\/12.70, Right of Way along \t\t\t\t Route\u00a099<\/a>, from Mission Avenue to Parsons Street, in the city of Merced. \t\t\t\t Approved.<\/b><\/p>\n 11-Imp-111-PM 17.8\/20.7, Right of Way along \t\t\t\t Route\u00a0111<\/a>, from 0.5 mile south of Carey Road to 0.2 mile north of Mead Road, in \t\t\t\t the county of Imperial.
