Of course, since then they&#8217;ve killed the peacock again, at least <a href=\"http:\/\/www.logoguru.co.uk\/blog\/new-nbc-universal-logo\/\">in the top-level corporate logo<\/a>. I bring this up because of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.time.com\/time\/magazine\/article\/0,9171,2056730,00.html\">an article in this week&#8217;s Time Magazine that looked at the evolution of a number of corporate logos<\/a>&#8230; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seriouseats.com\/2008\/04\/the-changing-face-of-starbucks.html\">all prompted by Starbuck&#8217;s redesign of their logo<\/a>. This prompted me to do some lunchtime web searches on logo evolution, and I thought I would share the results. Logoblink has <a href=\"http:\/\/logoblink.com\/2009\/07\/07\/starbucks-logo-mania\/\">a nice article with even more details on the Starbucks logo evolution<\/a>, including loads and loads of variant and parody logos. Instantshift looks at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.instantshift.com\/2009\/01\/29\/20-corporate-brand-logo-evolution\/\">the evolution of 20 different corporate brand logos<\/a>: Apple, Shell, Xerox, BMW, Nike, IBM, Canon, Google, Kodak, Microsoft, Volkswagon, MasterCard, Firefox, Pepsi, LG, Mercedes-Benz, General Electric, Nokia, Ford, and Wal-Mart. The Autoinsurance.Com site has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theautoinsurance.com\/theautoinsurance-com-evolution-of-car-logos_2011-02-16\/\">a nice graphic on the evolution of car company logos<\/a>.
