The article notes how both parties have gone to the ends of their spectrums, leaving the moderates with no one viable. Interesting read.\n<li><i>From the \u201c<b>They Happen In Threes<\/b>\u201d Department:<\/i> With the recent deaths of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/local\/la-me-cap-20100607,0,5338024.column\" target=\"_blank\">Gary Coleman<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2010\/06\/04\/arts\/04mcclanahan.html?hpw\" target=\"_blank\">Rue McClanahan<\/a>, there\u2019s one name that surprisingly hasn\u2019t been mentioned: <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Conrad_Bain\" target=\"_blank\">Conrad Bain<\/a>. He\u2019s the common link: He worked with McClanahan on Maude, and Coleman on Different Stokes&#8230; and Bain is still alive.\n<li><i>From the \u201c<b>They\u2019re Back<\/b>\u201d Department:<\/i> When I was a kid, everyone had a terrarium. You would take an old fish tank or large jar, put in some dirt, some plants, and give it to your mother :-).
