This resulted in changes on the following routes, with credit as \t\t\t indicated [my research<sup>(1)<\/sup>, contributions of information or leads \t\t\t (via direct mail or Usenet) from Michael Patrick<sup>(2)<\/sup>, and Mark \t\t\t Roberts<sup>(3)<\/sup>]:<!-- -->Route\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/001-008.html#001\">1<\/a><sup>(1)<\/sup>, Route\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/017-024.html#022\">22<\/a><sup>(1)<\/sup>, Route\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/017-024.html#024\">24<\/a><sup>(3)<\/sup>, Route\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/089-096.html#091\">91<\/a><sup>(1)<\/sup>, Route\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/105-112.html#110\">110<\/a><sup>(1)<\/sup>, Route\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/113-120.html#118\">118<\/a><sup>(1)<\/sup>, Route \t\t\t I-<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/305-440.html#405\">405<\/a><sup>(1)<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Updated the links page to reflect the merging of WestCoastRoadscom \t\t\t back into AAroads.com. This was much more work for the site, as (of course) \t\t\t there are more links to the California pages.<\/p>\n<p>Reviewed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/links-legislation.html\">the Pending Legislation \t\t\t page<\/a>. There were some new bills introduced, but nothing has passed yet. \t\t\t <\/p>\n<p>I checked \t\t\t <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dot.ca.gov\/hq\/transprog\/ctcliaison.htm\">the CTC Liaison \t\t\t page,<\/a>, for the results of the January meeting. The following items were of \t\t\t interest: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><b>2.1a. Program Amendments\/Project Approvals \u2013 STIP \t\t\t\t  Amendments for Action<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/lj-images\/ca-sign-icon.gif\" alt=\"***\" align=\"TOP\" border=\"0\"> (1) The Riverside County Transportation \t\t\t\t  Commission proposes to amend the 2008 STIP to reprogram $2,000,000 RIP from the \t\t\t\t  Route\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/089-096.html#091\">91<\/a>\/Route\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/065-072.html#071\">71<\/a> Interchange and Connectors project (PPNO 0077G) to a new \t\t\t\t  Route\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/089-096.html#091\">91<\/a> Corridor Improvement project (PPNO 0077J) in Riverside County. \t\t\t\t  <b>Approved.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>2.1b. Program Amendments\/Project Approvals \u2013 STIP \t\t\t\t  Amendments for Notice<\/b> <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/lj-images\/ca-sign-icon.gif\" alt=\"***\" align=\"TOP\" border=\"0\"> (2) The Department and the Imperial Valley \t\t\t\t  Association of Governments propose to amend the 2008 STIP and the Trade \t\t\t\t  Corridors Improvement Fund baseline agreement for the Brawley Bypass (Stage 3) \t\t\t\t  project (PPNO 0021G) in Imperial County to program $1,909,000 of Federal Safe, \t\t\t\t  Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users \t\t\t\t  (SAFETEA-LU) Border Infrastructure Program funds for Right of Way. \t\t\t\t  <b>Information only. Proposed for Consent Calendar at the February 2010 \t\t\t\t  meeting.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>2.1c. Traffic Congestion Relief (TCR)Program Application \t\t\t\t  Approvals\/Amendments, Proposition 1B CMIA Program\/Project Amendments<\/b> <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/lj-images\/ca-sign-icon.gif\" alt=\"***\" align=\"TOP\" border=\"0\"> (1b) The Department and the San Diego \t\t\t\t  Association of Governments propose to amend the Corridor Mobility Improvement \t\t\t\t  Account Program baseline agreement for the Route\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/001-008.html#005\">5<\/a>\/805 North Coast Corridor \t\t\t\t  \u2013 Stage 1A Project \u2013 Unit 2 (PPNO 0716) project to replace CMIA funds \t\t\t\t  with regional funds from the Recovery Act. <b>Approved.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/lj-images\/ca-sign-icon.gif\" alt=\"***\" align=\"TOP\" border=\"0\"> (5) The Department and the San Diego \t\t\t\t  Association of Governments propose to amend the Trade Corridor Improvement Fund \t\t\t\t  baseline agreement and the 2008 STIP for the State Route\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/009-016.html#011\">11<\/a> and Otay Mesa Port \t\t\t\t  of Entry (POE) project (PPNO 0999) to program $4,900,000 of Federal Safe, \t\t\t\t  Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users \t\t\t\t  (SAFETEA-LU) Border Infrastructure Program funds to PA&amp;ED in FY 2009-10, \t\t\t\t  and update the project description, schedule and funding plan. Resolution \t\t\t\t  TCIF-P-0910-04 <b>Approved.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<p>  \t\t\t <!--\n\n<li>\n\n<p><b>2.2a. Environmental Matters &#150; Notice of Preparation of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR)<\/b> <\/p>\n\n \n\n<p><img SRC=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/lj-images\/ca-sign-icon.gif\" ALT=\"***\" ALIGN=\"TOP\" BORDER=\"0\"> [0906] (2) 04-SCl-17\/280\/880, PM 13.80\/13.94, PM 4.50\/6.0, PM 0.00\/1.00 Routes 17\/280\/880 in Santa Clara County. Reconfigure the Route&nbsp;<a HREF=\"017-024.html#017\">17<\/a>\/880\/Stevens Creek Boulevard Interchange, construct on and off-ramps at the I-<a HREF=\"273-280.html#280\">280<\/a>\/880 connector, and roadway improvements within the city of San Jose. <b>The Commission had no comments on the alternatives or environmental impacts to be addressed, but staff to send letter to project sponsors recommending that the funding necessary to complete the project be secured.<\/b><\/p>\n\n<\/li>\n\n --> <!--\n\n<li>\n\n<p><b>2.2b. Environmental Matters &#150; Comments on Documents in Circulation (Draft EIR)<\/b> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img SRC=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/lj-images\/ca-sign-icon.gif\" ALT=\"***\" ALIGN=\"TOP\" BORDER=\"0\"> [090415] 07-LA-39, PM 40.0\/44.4 Route&nbsp;<a HREF=\"033-040.html#039\">39<\/a> in  \t\t\t Los Angeles County. Construct roadway improvements including culverts, \t\t\t retaining walls, shoulder widening, and repaving from just south of Snow Spring \t\t\t to Route&nbsp;<a HREF=\"001-008.html#002\">2<\/a> near the city of Azusa. <b>The Commission had no comments on the \t\t\t Draft EIR.<\/b><\/p>\n\n<\/li>\n\n--> \t\t\t <\/p>\n<li>\n<p><b>2.2c. Environmental Matters \u2013 Approval of Projects for \t\t\t\t  Future Consideration of Funding, Route Adoption or New Public Road<\/b> <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/lj-images\/ca-sign-icon.gif\" alt=\"***\" align=\"TOP\" border=\"0\"> (5) 12-Ora-5, PM 8.58\/9.35 Route\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/001-008.html#005\">5<\/a> in Orange \t\t\t\t  County. Roadway improvements including lane widening and interchange \t\t\t\t  reconfiguration on Route\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/001-008.html#005\">5<\/a> in San Juan Capistrano. (PPNO 2615) <b>The \t\t\t\t  Commission accepted the environmental document and approved for the project for \t\t\t\t  future consideration of funding.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<p>  \t\t\t <!--\n\n<li>\n\n<p><b>2.3a. Route Adoptions<\/b><\/p>\n\n  \t\t\t\t\n\n<p><img SRC=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/lj-images\/ca-sign-icon.gif\" ALT=\"***\" ALIGN=\"TOP\" BORDER=\"0\">Notice of Intention to  Consider Rescinding Freeway Adoption [for Route&nbsp;<a HREF=\"233-240.html#238\">238<\/a> between I-<a HREF=\"466-740.html#580\">580<\/a> and Industrial Parkway] in the city of Hayward and Alameda County.  04 Ala-238-PM 92.\/14.8 B>Approved.<\/b><\/p>\n\n<\/li>\n\n--> \t\t\t <\/p>\n<li>\n<p><b>2.3b. New Public Road Connection<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/lj-images\/ca-sign-icon.gif\" alt=\"***\" align=\"TOP\" border=\"0\"> One New Public Road Connection to US\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/097-104.html#101\">101<\/a> at \t\t\t\t  05-SLO-101 PM 6.4 (Willow Road) in the community of Nipomo, in the county of \t\t\t\t  San Luis Obispo. <b>Approved.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>2.3c.
