OK, Folks, you know the drill. Let’s gather in front of our large, 13″, Black and White TV set, and and watch as a tall, lanky man in a khaki uniform strides out, introduces himself as Sheriff John, and says: <\/p>\n

“Kids, as you know, I try to grant requests for birthday songs. I know that not everyone likes polkas, although I can’t understand why. Today’s request is for a song from a British independent band called The Smiths<\/a>, and goes something like this:”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He takes out his guitar, plucks an “A” note, says “This is for you, dementia<\/a>“, and sings<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n

A note to dementia<\/a>: Although I haven\u2019t friended you back yet, I have been going over and reading your stuff occasionally. I\u2019m still hoping you will comment here more. I normally don\u2019t do the birthday announcements for folks not on my friendslist, but I knew today was to be a special day for you, and I wanted to do my part to make it happy. And since it is a particularly special day, I\u2019ve invited another group to sing a song for you. [A group of one girl and three guys<\/a> walks on stage, sets up their instruments, and sings<\/a>]<\/p>\n\n\n
