Examples include books such as the classic <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Working-People-Talk-About-What\/dp\/1565843428\/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&#038;s=books&#038;qid=1225490530&#038;sr=8-1\" target=\"_blank\">Working<\/a><\/i>, which was just people talking about their jobs; <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.studsterkel.org\/gwar.php\" target=\"_blank\">The Good War<\/a><\/i>, people remembering World War II; &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Hard-Times-History-Great-Depression\/dp\/1565846567\/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&#038;s=books&#038;qid=1225490530&#038;sr=8-2\" target=\"_blank\">Hard Times<\/a>&#8220;, people talking about the depression, and many others. <i>Working<\/i> was eventually made into a Broadway musical. One of the books on my reading list is one of Stud&#8217;s last books: &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Hope-Dies-Last-Keeping-Difficult\/dp\/B001718NHS\/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&#038;s=books&#038;qid=1225490601&#038;sr=1-14\" target=\"_blank\">Hope Dies Last: Keeping the Faith in Difficult Times<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>A unique author who made unique contributions.
