Putting away her breast pump, she points her rifle and informs him frostily that she has some expertise in Russia because it\u2019s close to Alaska. \u201cBack off, Commie dude,\u201d she says. \u201cI\u2019m a much better shot than Cheney.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Then she takes off in her seaplane and lands on the White House lawn, near the new ice fishing hole and hockey rink. The \u201cFirst Dude,\u201d as she calls the hunky Eskimo in the East Wing, waits on his snowmobile with the kids \u2014 Track (named after high school track meets), Bristol (after Bristol Bay where they did commercial fishing), Willow (after a community in Alaska), Piper (just a cool name) and Trig (Norse for \u201cstrength.\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe P.T.A. is great preparation for dealing with the K.G.B.,\u201d President Palin murmurs to Todd, as they kiss in the final scene while she changes Trig\u2019s diaper. \u201cNow that Georgia\u2019s safe, how \u2019bout I cook you up some caribou hot dogs and moose stew for dinner, babe?\u201d <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Quote Runner Up, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.time.com\/time\/nation\/article\/0,8599,1837713,00.html?cnn=yes\" target=\"_blank\">from this Time article<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[Alaska] State fair t-shirt vendor Kevin Beagley says he remembers one particular customer last year who bought a few t-shirts that said &#8220;Alaska: The Coldest State with the Hottest Governor&#8221;.
