You know what they say about too many cooks!<\/p>\n<p><b>The TV Show Meme<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post a list of 10 (I did a dozen) TV shows you watch (current or cancelled!).\n<li>Have your friends list guess your favourite CHARACTER from each show.\n<li>When guessed, tell us why you like that character.<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0108724\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chicago Hope<\/a><\/b>. I had two favorite characters here: Lisa Catera (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0250368\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stacy Edwards<\/a>), just for the pun that they created in the name, and Alan Birch (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0001493\/\" target=\"_blank\">Peter MacNicol<\/a>), because I like <i>anything<\/i> Peter MacNicol is in!\n<li><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0072554\/\" target=\"_blank\">One Day at a Time<\/a><\/b>. Barbara Cooper (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000933\/\" target=\"_blank\">Valerie Bertinelli<\/a>), simply because I thought she was so cute.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0103372\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Bob<\/b><\/a>. The 3<sup>rd<\/sup> or 4<sup>th<\/sup> Bob Newhart series. Of course, I liked Bob McKay (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0627878\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bob Newhart<\/a>) as well as Buzz Loudermilk (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0552189\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dick Martin<\/a>). I especially appreciated the episode where they parodied <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0144701\/\" target=\"_blank\">Barney<\/a>.\n<li><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0075536\/\" target=\"_blank\">Meeting of Minds<\/a><\/b>. A wonderful PBS series created by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0006752\/\" target=\"_blank\">Steve Allen<\/a>, who served as host and moderator, and who was my favorite &#8220;character&#8221;.\n<li><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0075528\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lou Grant<\/a><\/b>. I really liked Bille (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0447057\/\" target=\"_blank\">Linda Kelsey<\/a>), although all the characters were great. A wonderful ensemble show. I still remember the show they did about The Original Spanish Kitchen.\n<li><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0433309\/\" target=\"_blank\">Numb3rs<\/a><\/b>. One of the few current shows on this list. Of course, I like Charlie Eppes (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0472710\/\" target=\"_blank\">David Krumholtz<\/a>), the math genius. Man after my heart.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0063948\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Room 222<\/b><\/a>. Alice Johnson (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0884259\/\" target=\"_blank\">Karen Valentine<\/a>). Yet another youthful crush. This is a show you don&#8217;t see anymore, but was basically a TV version of <i>Up the Down Staircase<\/i>.\n<li><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0092455\/\" target=\"_blank\">Star Trek: The Next Generation<\/a><\/b>. Although I didn&#8217;t like his character when the show aired, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wilwheaton.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wil Wheaton<\/a> has turned into a pretty neat guy, a nerd for our generation.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/latvlegends.com\/SheriffJohn\/sheriffjohn.html\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Lunch Brigade<\/b><\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tvacres.com\/child_sheriff_john.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Sheriff John<\/a> (John Rovick). Laugh and be happy, and the world will laugh with you. A philosophy for life.\n<li><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0098809\/\" target=\"_blank\">Grand<\/a><\/b>. A quirky comedy that died too soon, just like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0086702\/\" target=\"_blank\">Duck Factory<\/a>. I liked Harris Weldon (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0709907\/\" target=\"_blank\">John Randolph<\/a>) for his attitude.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0061296\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>The Smothers Comedy Brothers Hour<\/b><\/a> and all revivals. Of course, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0810691\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tom<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0810686\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dick Smothers<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0667323\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pat Paulson<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0931281\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mason Williams<\/a>. A truly classic show.\n<li><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0278249\/\" target=\"_blank\">Trading Spaces<\/a><\/b>. Sob.
