The specifics of the changes are too detailed to list them all here; you can find a complete list on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/changes.html\">my changes page<\/a> (but note that this link will only be good until I do the January changes). Some highlights of the changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Added information on the <i>Southern Crossing<\/i> to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/maps-sf-fwy.html\">San Francisco History<\/a> page, based on information gleaned from an eBay auction of  &#8216;<i>A Report to the Department of Public Works on Additional Toll Crossings of San Francisco Bay<\/i>&#8216; , Division of San Francisco Bay Toll Crossings, Department of Public Works, State of California, November 1948.\n<li>Added updated information on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/elcamino.html\">El Camino Real<\/a>, provided by Keith Robinson, Principal Landscape Architect, Landscape Architecture Program Division of Design of Caltrans.\n<li>Added information on the possible renaming of the Bay Bridge as the Emperor Norton Bridge, first <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livejournal.com\/users\/internet_addict\/136094.html\">noted<\/a> by <a href=\"http:\/\/internet_addict.livejournal.com\/\" class=\"lj-user\">internet_addict<\/a>.\n<li>Added some map and map links to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/maps-sc-fwy.html\">Southern California Map<\/a> pages. This included adding links to PDF for the 1956 Master Planning Map for Southern California (<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/logos\/pdf.gif\" alt=\"[PDF]\" align=\"bottom\" border=\"0\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\">\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/maps\/1956-la-mteb2.pdf\">Link<\/a>, 1.5MB) and the 2003 System Status Map (<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/logos\/pdf.gif\" alt=\"[PDF]\" align=\"bottom\" border=\"0\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\">\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/maps\/2003scstatus.pdf\">Link<\/a>, 4MB).\n<li> Updated the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cahighways.org\/links-legislation.html\">Leglislative Information Page<\/a>.
