The first related to <a href=\"http:\/\/tabletmag.com\/jewish-life-and-religion\/191017\/rugelach-an-american-treat?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+tabletmag+%28Tablet+Magazine%29\">rugelach, which I&#8217;m sure you thought came from Europe. Nope. It was invented by Jews in America<\/a>. The next relates to Bagels. You&#8217;ve probably heard it is New York water that makes their bagels better (a point I dispute). <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/thesalt\/2015\/05\/21\/405190434\/chew-on-this-the-science-of-great-nyc-bagels-its-not-the-water?utm_medium=RSS&amp;utm_campaign=thesalt\">Nope: It is boiling the bagels before baking<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><em>From the<strong> Multiple Uses<\/strong> Department:<\/em> Here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/food\/la-fo-tea-20150523-story.html#navtype=outfit\">a real interesting article on using tea in cooking<\/a> &#8212; infusing it in broths, rice, and using it as\u00a0 a rub on salmon.
