Although attending a conference is good, especially when you are learning good stuff and hearing good presentations, the best part of a conference is seeing good friends and colleagues. The conference I’m at is no exception. Today I had a delightful lunch with Jon and Judy — Jon was the person that got me into this industry (muffled-mumble) years ago. Dinner was with my “Cousin” Rhonda — someone who has been a close family friend since before I was born. I hadn’t had the opportunity to see her in a while… and since I was in San Diego, and she lives in San Diego, we got together for dinner. Delightful time, and the food wasn’t bad either.

A Delightful Evening II
Tonight I had my second of two visits with LJ folks. Last week, I visited with estherchaya and sethcohen and had a delightful time. Tonight, I had a delighful evening visiting with deedeebythebay, ef2p, coyote3502, cyan_blue, and the children of the household. Yet another group I wished lived closer to Los Angeles, as I could easily see them becoming family friends. I would like to thank them all for wonderful food, wonderful friends, and wonderful conversation.
