Ha. Routine Maintenance.

Last night, the provider for cahighways.org, Westhost, did a routine 20 minutes maintenance. Can you guess what happened? Extended downtime. As a result, everything was down this morning. Luckily, I never moved the DNS for the domain from enom, so I just enabled the email forwarding. About 40 minutes ago, I set it back to my mail machine.

There must be a bad mail backlog for the machines as a whole (these are all virtual servers). Mail is taking forever to get through: it’s not bouncing, but it’s also not coming through speedily.

Just the thing I needed to start my morning.
