In the spirit (ahem) of the upcoming holiday, a few ghost stories:
- Gilmore Brown. Perhaps you don’t recognize the name, but he was the founder of the Pasadena Playhouse… and he still supposedly haunts the facility. He plays tricks. He criticizes actors. He helps carry scenery. However, the current Artistic Director hasn’t seen him.
- Redd Foxx. Yup, the former star of “Sanford and Son” supposedly haunts his former Las Vegas home… the home he lost to the IRS. Light switches would mysteriously switch on or off, doors would slam in the night. and a sliding door opened by itself.
- W. C. Fields. No, he’s not haunting Philadelphia. However, Fields is supposedly haunting his former Encino home. Things will inexplicably fall off the shelf, and noises will be heard at night.
So, what’s your favorite haunting story? Does anyone haunt where you live?
