The Hall vs. The Session

Conferences are so much fun, especially the conversations in the hall. I just got out of an almost 2 hr hallway conversation/reminisance session with folks such as Brian Snow, Paul Karger, Jim Arnold, and a bunch of other folks. This was almost a compusaur gathering, going back to the days of STRETCH and secure radios, going over all sorts of stuff.  You learn so much; folks don’t realize how valuable these conversations are. This is especially true when you are dealing with folks who have been there and worked with the greats in the field, and who are largely responsible for much of the advances in the field.
