This is one of those weird weeks where I’m on business travel on Monday and Tuesday, meaning I flew out of Los Angeles on Sunday. So, as I type this, I’m sitting in my hotel room at the Sheraton in Columbia MD… with a nasty (likely travel induced) headache.
On the plus side, United was on time, and the iPod worked well on the flight. I’ve still got lots more loading to do, and I haven’t quite figured out the shuffle algorithm yet: it is hitting some albums twice early, and some it hasn’t hit yet. Of course, with over 3,800 songs, it could take awhlie. It also appears that in a few cases the album art wasn’t captured.
On the minus side, other than the headache: the flight was packed to the gills, and Avis (thinking they were being nice) upgraded me to a Lincoln LandYacht. I’m not used to driving cars that big (it is even worse than our vanpool van). I’ll be glad to get home early Wednesday morning to my nice little Cahwycar.
And with that, I think I’ll go try to distract my head…
