Reading the news today, a headline caught my eye:
- Tesla’s Mass Firings Spread To SolarCity as Employees Say They Were Blindsided
- Tesla firings spark protests from dozens of workers, family members
- [ETA: And the inevitable Tesla Labor complaint by the union]
This seemed so familiar. Then I remembered:
- SpaceX Says “Headcount Reduction” Due To Annual Reviews, Not Layoffs
- SpaceX sued for laying off hundreds of workers without proper notice
- Former SpaceX employees sue over alleged labor law violations
Hmmm, I wonder if these events have anything in common.
Or anyone.
